United 7 Productions is composed of Ruth Robertson (Artemis) and David Henry (Tomic / Atomic Theory).
Set your mind back to early 2002.
The first meeting of the to be 'United 7' production group. Artemis and Tomic first met after the first Mass Sound System @ Mombassa (Canberra). Shortly there after plans for our first event were under way. It was Battle of the Sexes (BOTS) at the now defunct Aree-bar. BOTS aimed to promote new talent and female DJs and was extremely successful for several years, giving many of Canberra's current DJs their first start. Whilst prodominately hard dance oriented, United 7 always maintains a multi style event, with regular techno, progessive and drum n bass also getting their turn. December 2003 saw United 7 take on their first international, Lab4... They were extremely well recieved and that paved the way for many more large scale productions such as the Canberra Indoor Rock Climbing Centre parties (Ministry of Sound Hard NRG Tour, Experience 1 & 2, Trance Australia CD Launch, Bass Station CD Launch to name a few), and the steady stream of international acts such as Alphazone (Germany), Technikal (UK), Misja Helsoot (Holland) and Steve Gerrard (UK). The next significant United 7 Production is the Central Energy EP Launch with Archie, Amber Savage and Brisk (UK).
It would be incredibly unpolite to leave out a few special people who also helped make the United 7 events such as BOTS as successful as they were... A special mention to Stu, John, Raul, Jez, Jess, Rohan, everyone who has played for us and last not but not least the people who attend our events. You make the next event one to look forward too.
